  • other transaction-related communications.
Electronic records may be retained as evidence of transactions and communications, subject to applicable law.
8. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to display products, descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes, measurements, materials and other information accurately.
However:
  • colours may appear differently depending on your device or screen;
  • product photographs may contain styling or accessories that are not included with the product;
  • measurements may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances;
  • minor variations may occur due to manufacturing, fabric characteristics, washing, lighting or photography; and
  • product availability may change without prior notice.
The information displayed on the Website should be read together with the specific product page and applicable product labels.
9. APPAREL SIZES AND FIT
MARS MELON provides size information on applicable product pages.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the available size chart and product measurements before placing an order.
Different garments may have different fits, cuts or measurements.
A difference between expected personal fit and the stated product measurements does not by itself establish that a product is defective.
Where a product is genuinely defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise eligible for a remedy under our applicable policy, customers may contact support@marsmelon.in.
10. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Products displayed on the Website are subject to availability.
Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee that the product will remain available until checkout or payment.
MARS MELON may limit quantities purchased by an individual customer or household where reasonably necessary, including to prevent fraud, resale abuse, automated purchasing or unusual purchasing patterns.
11. PRICES
Prices displayed on the Website are stated in Indian Rupees (INR), unless expressly stated otherwise.
Applicable taxes, including GST where applicable, will be handled and displayed in accordance with applicable law and the relevant transaction.
MARS MELON reserves the right to change prices at any time before an order is accepted.
A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted, except where cancellation, correction or other action is required by applicable law or where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.
12. PRICING OR LISTING ERRORS
Despite reasonable efforts, the Website may occasionally contain typographical, technical, pricing or product-information errors.
If a material error is discovered before fulfilment, MARS MELON may contact you and provide an opportunity to confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel the affected order, subject to applicable law.
If payment has already been collected and an order is cancelled because of such an error, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded in accordance with the applicable refund process.
13. ORDERS
Placing an order constitutes an offer by you to purchase the selected products.
Your order is subject to acceptance and availability.
An order confirmation or payment acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that MARS MELON has accepted the order for fulfilment where the order remains subject to verification, availability, fraud checks or other reasonable processing requirements.
MARS MELON may reject or cancel an order where permitted by law, including where:
  • the product is unavailable;
  • there is an apparent pricing or listing error;
  • payment cannot be verified;
  • fraudulent or suspicious activity is identified;
  • the order contains materially inaccurate information;
  • the quantity appears commercially unreasonable or intended for unauthorised resale; or
  • fulfilment is prevented by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with applicable law and our refund process.
14. PAYMENT
Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways or other payment service providers made available on the Website.
You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information.
MARS MELON does not ordinarily receive or store complete payment-card credentials where the payment is processed by an independent payment service provider.
Your use of a third-party payment method may also be subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy.
15. FRAUD PREVENTION
MARS MELON may conduct reasonable verification and fraud-prevention checks before processing or dispatching an order.
We may restrict, cancel or investigate orders that reasonably appear fraudulent, abusive, automated, duplicated or otherwise suspicious.
Nothing in this section limits any rights available to consumers under applicable law.
16. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
MARS MELON intends to provide delivery services across India, subject to serviceability and the availability of delivery partners.
Estimated delivery periods displayed on the Website are estimates and are not necessarily guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by:
  • weather;
  • natural disasters;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • strikes or labour disruptions;
  • government restrictions;
  • public emergencies;
  • courier delays;
  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
  • remote or difficult-to-service locations; or
  • other circumstances outside MARS MELON's reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Where an order cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address or repeated failed delivery attempts, additional charges or other consequences may apply where permitted by applicable law and the relevant shipping policy.
17. DELIVERY INSPECTION
Customers are encouraged to inspect packages and products promptly upon delivery.
If a package appears materially damaged, tampered with, incorrect or contains a visibly damaged product, customers should document the condition and contact MARS MELON through support@marsmelon.in or the official WhatsApp support channel as soon as reasonably possible.
Photographs, videos, packaging information and order details may be requested to assist with investigation.
18. RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
MARS MELON offers a 14-day return period, subject to the applicable Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.
To qualify for a return, the product may be required to satisfy conditions including:
  • the return request being made within the applicable 14-day period;
  • the product being unused, unworn and unwashed, except where necessary to identify a defect;
  • original tags, labels and packaging being retained where applicable;
  • the product not being damaged due to customer use;
  • the product not being altered, customised or modified where such products are excluded from return; and
  • any other reasonable conditions stated in the Return & Refund Policy.
Certain products may be non-returnable where permitted by applicable law, including products that are personalised, customised, hygienic in nature, or otherwise specifically identified as non-returnable.
Nothing in this section is intended to exclude any mandatory consumer rights available under Indian law.
19. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, materially different from the product ordered, or otherwise affected by an issue covered by applicable law or our policy, please contact:
support@marsmelon.in
or use the official MARS MELON WhatsApp support channel.
We may request reasonable evidence, including photographs, videos, packaging information and order details.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, MARS MELON may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, exchange, refund or another legally applicable remedy.
20. CANCELLATION
Orders may be cancelled only in accordance with the cancellation options available on the Website and applicable law.
Once an order has entered processing, packing or dispatch, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Where cancellation is permitted after payment, any eligible refund will be processed through the applicable payment method or another lawful refund mechanism.
21. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS AND COUPONS
Promotional offers, discount codes, coupons and other promotional benefits may be subject to additional conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
  • promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • promotions may have expiry dates;
  • promotions may be limited to particular products or customers;
  • only one promotional code may be used per order where the Website does not permit combination;
  • promotional benefits may not be transferable; and
  • MARS MELON may correct or cancel promotions affected by obvious technical or pricing errors, subject to applicable law.
Additional promotional terms displayed with a specific offer will form part of the applicable transaction terms.

Third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
MARS MELON is not responsible for third-party websites or services to the extent they are outside our reasonable control.
The inclusion of a third-party link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of that third party.
27. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
MARS MELON may collect and process personal information necessary to operate the Website, process orders, provide customer support, arrange delivery, prevent fraud and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data-protection and privacy laws.

MARS MELON intends to operate its e-commerce activities in accordance with applicable consumer-protection requirements, including requirements applicable to e-commerce entities. The Department of Consumer Affairs publishes the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory legal provision will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

For apparel and other applicable products, mandatory information may include information relating to the manufacturer/marketer/brand owner/importer, country of origin where applicable, consumer-care information, size information, MRP and other legally required declarations.
